Aint nobody got time for that.
I beileve that anybody after a hurricane should not think they have the right to take things just cause a natural disaster comes through. According to New York daily news, looters target Coney Island after hurricane Sandy sweeps through this past week. I think that if its someting they need such as food or water then it shouldnt be that big of a problem considering thet did lose everything , but a flat screen is not something you need to survive. There should be a consiquences. "It was complete lawlessness," said Ron Troyano owner of Joann's Discount wine and Liquors. When people are stealing stuff from theses shops its not only a bad idea but its taking money from the shop which could ruin chances for the store when they re-open. There's no need to steal money you cant buy anything anyways Sandy took all your stores. All im saying is dont steal pointless stuff when theres other things you need to survive during this horrible time and good luck to all the survivors.

Heart to Heaven
She dropped the phone and burst into tears
The doctor just confirmed her fears
Her husband held it in and held her tight
Cancer don't discriminate or care if you're just 38
With three kids who need you in their lives
He said, "I know that you're afraid and I am, too
But you'll never be alone, I promise you"
Chorus:
When you're weak, I'll be strong
When you let go, I'll hold on
When you need to cry, I swear that I'll be there to dry
your eyes
When you feel lost and scared to death,
Like you can't take one more step
Just take my hand, together we can do it
I'm gonna love you through it.
She made it through the surgery fine
They said they caught it just in time
But they had to take more than they planned
Now it's forced smiles and baggy shirts
To hide what the cancer took from her
But she just wants to feel like a woman again
She said, "I don't think I can do this anymore"
He took her in his arms and said "That's what my love
is for"
And when this road gets too long i'll be the rock you
lean on
Just take my hand, together we can do it
I'm gonna love you through it.
I'm gonna love you through it
In this song Martina expresses her and others women feelings that are going through Breast Cancer, as well as what their families have to go through. I can relate to this song in ways that many other people may not be able to some may but not many, two years ago my Great Aunt was diagnosed with Breast Cancer. It was one struggle I thought I would never have to go through in my life, I just imagined it as one of the one in a million things. In the song, 4th paragraph down, it reads "she made it through the surgery fine they said they caught it just time." My aunt luckily made it through as well after about eight months of fighting like a woman. Never underestimate a woman. I've also heard from my bestfriend, Kayla, the stories of her grandma's fight as well, in 2004. The struggle goes way farther down the road even after your cured from the sickness. Its something you live with for your entire life. Like the song states, "But they had to take more than they planned, now its forced smiles and baggy shirts to hide what the cancer took from her, but she just wants to feel like a women again." Breast cancer obviously takes a womans pride away from her, her breast. And fake boobs is not a choice after being diagnosed its just something you have to live with, like my aunt. Even if you've never gone through something like this, it still effects everyone. So during this October remember the breast cancer victims and wear pink.

New School or Free Money?
In today's world everything and everyone is moving so fast. New buildings, roads, schools, and etc. Sometimes you just need to sit back and breathe.
This school year, 2012-2013, Southside is getting a new addition to there building. Your probably asking yourself "why does this have anything to do with me I go to Batesville?" Well the funny thing is the same thing is happening at Batesville High School! We're getting a whole new half to our school if you didn't notice all the racket coming from outside the building!
One thing Southside is getting that we are not is speed bumps. Which I agree with them I think BHS should get them as well. The way the kids fly in and out of here everyday could be freighting to the younger kids who may be trying to get on the bus or to there car ride home. It could get someone seriously hurt and get the school sued. If we had speed bumps it may slow some of the kids down which would make the school safer.
In the article it says that Southside is getting all kinds of Grant money which is helping them pay for all this and more for example the new turf field they received over summer break. My question is how or what is getting them all the extra money? I disagree with them getting all the money if they can't afford it in the first place why loan it out?
Like said before take a step back and breathe and let the money do the talking. Just make sure your using it for all the right reason.

My Bucket List 2012-2013
1. Thriteen Reasons Why by Jay Asher
I tried to read it last year, but never really got into it very. Lots of my friends have recommended the book. I had a friend who had commited suicde 2 summers ago, dealing with things is hard. I really enjoys books like this, i like books that i can relate to and really get into.
2. Delirium by Lauren Oliver
After Mrs. Pickett told us about the book in class one day i couldnt really stop thinking about it, seems like a pretty interesting book. I started the book today actually and so far its kinda confusing but i think i can make it. Love is not a disease its a way the body feels and you cant help it.
3. The Vow by Nicholas Sparks
Its a love story and thats my favorite genre of books. Plus I seen the movie when it first came out and it was an amazing movie. I would like to see if the book resembles the movie at all i have been told multiple times that its way different and the book is so much better. I guess ill find out.
4. The Last Song by Nicholas Sparks
Same story like The Vow. I have seen the movie multiple times and have cried everytime. I have never found a book that has actually made me cry before, but thats probably because i dont read. The Last Song is such a sweet movie and i highly doubt the book is gonna give off the same feeling.
5. Along for the ride by Sarah Dessen
Actually the only reason i picked up this book was because the cover was cute, but as i started to read the back and a few pages inside. I realized it might actually be a good book for a teenage girl like me. It kinda sounds like how my previous Summer went. So i maybe able to relate.
6. Raven Summer by David Almond
After i seen this book i thought it was gonna be good, i havent started the book yet but there about a million huge words just on the back of the book, so im not to sure that this is gonna be the book for me. But i guess ill take a crack at it.
7. Glass by Ellen Hopkins
I have read the first one Crank and it was absolutely amazing i couldnt put the book down, i just never really got around to reading the second one. I am hoping that it keeps me anxious to read more just like the first one. Or i'll be very disappointed.
8. Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins
My little sister read it and is threaghting me to read it and i have nothoing better to read. I checked out last year but checked it right back in because of how big it was. I went an seen the movie and loved it by sister hated and said if i wanted to know the real story to read the book so here we go.
9. Land of a Hundred wonders by Lesley Kagen
I seen this book in the library about a week ago and the cover was super cute, yes i judge books by the cover because a non-reader thats what we do. But i started read on the back a little and it seemed like a decent book. I may actually be able to get into this one.
10. Before i fall by Lauren Oliver
I also checked this one out last year, i actually had it out for a while just kinda stuck it in my backpack and let it sit there for about a month. Its a pretty big book and i know i've said that a bunch all through out this but i dont read and big books scare. I chose this one because i am trying out different topics to try and find something i enjoy.
